Pixel Fold is expected to be released on May 10, 2023 during the Google I/O event. The device is expected to compete with Samsung Fold devices in terms of specifications and user experience. The device is expected to have a 12 GB RAM / 256 GB internal storage base variant and will be available in black color.

The Pixel Fold is expected to feature Material You theme support and Tensor-powered AI capabilities, such as the Magic Eraser tool and Clear Calling, out of the box. Moreover, we can also expect some foldable-specific software features that Google has been adding to Android since the release of Android 12L. The Pixel Fold is expected to have a 7.69-inch inner display and a 5.79-inch outer display. The device is expected to be powered by Google’s own Tensor G2 chipset with 256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device is expected to have a starting price of $1,799 or 1,47,535.99 for the 256GB model and $1,919 or 1,57,377.19 for the 512GB version.
